Montana, east, Crooked Creek Cascade with gold light reflected from cliffs. No Photoshop - The water courses in the Pryor Mountains of east Montana are in deep and often narrow canyons between limestone cliffs and I could see the potential for reflected light in the water. After a couple hours of serious brush busting down into the gorge, I reached this cascade and was rewarded with more than I hoped for. The rocks below the water have a gold tint and in combination with reflected light from the cliffs, the ripples glowed as if lit from underneath with warm light. I also discovered that the creek bursts from the side of a mountain underneath a limestone cliff.
