Oregon, southeast, Antique gear in the historical Butte County Flour Mill in Eagle Point. Constructed in 1872, the Butte County Mill remains largely original and is still operating. Butte Creek provides the power for grinding flour. The present owners, Bon and Debbie Russell, operate the mill and manage the country and antique stores. Touring the mill is like stepping back in time and I found the old equipment, canisters, tools, belt wheels and gears lying about particularly inspiring for rustic imagery.
