Wyoming, Teton National Park. Panoramic of Shane or Erwin Taylor Cabin in autumn. Now often called “Shane Cabin” because it was used in the 1953 western movie Shane, this site was originally homesteaded in 1916 by John Erwin and later purchased by Luther Taylor in 1923. Taylor built a cabin and other buildings. This site is photographed far less than the barns on so-called Mormon Row.
