The sign in front of this cabin in Pioche Nevada says “Old Miners Cabin”. I’ve always found historical signs like this a bit misleading since the miner didn’t necessarily have to be old as well. Seems to me, Old Cabin Used by Miner, or something like that would be better. Regardless, this one has a particularly interesting texture and color having been repaired numerous times with materials at hand and it’s right across the street from the coffee shop that also appears to be in a building first constructed in the early 1800’s.
